I live on Remy Bay Road north of Snug Harbour on the property my grandparents bought in the late 1950s. My grandfather managed a lumber supply business in town, and fell in love with Carling Township.

I have a BSc from the University of Guelph in fisheries management, but early in my career I moved from raising fish to raising pigs - they just grew faster and it was good business.
After 22 years in production agriculture I began working for provincial agriculture organizations. It was the perfect place to refine my management, finance and project management skills while working on complex multi-stakeholder issues.
I am presently employed as a consultant for an agricultural communications company.

My wife Jennifer and our dog Olivia call Remy Bay home. We have two adult children with their own careers and four grandkids.
